George Watson

Services for George W. Watson, Jr. , 77, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, January 29, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Bruce Martin will officiate. Burial will be in George's Creek Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy McPherson, Chris Malone, Kevin Cordell, Bo Watson, Charles Brock, Matt Walker, John Edwards, Zachary Watson and Thad Watson.

George W. Watson, Jr. passed away Friday, January 26, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born August 24, 1929 in Ft. Spunky, Texas to George, Sr. and Jewell Cavasos Watson. He married Lucille Watson on July 5, 1947.

Mr. Watson formerly worked for Safeway and Brown & Root and was of the Church of Christ faith.

George W. Watson, Jr. is survived by his sons, Jerry (Bubba) Watson and Lola of Joshua and Larry (Mikey) Watson and wife Kim of Godley; daughters, Linda McPherson and husband John of Aquilla and Vicky Smith and husband James of Burleson; 13 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lucille Watson on June 15, 2004.

Visitation will be Sunday from 5-7 p.m.
