Georgia Peikoff

Service for Georgia Peikoff of Midlothian will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, March 18, 2024 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery in Cleburne. Visitation will be 5-7:00 P.M., Sunday, March 17, 2024 at the funeral home.

Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024 in Midlothian. She was born in Corsicana to John Jefferson and Rachel Lavonia (Dill) Shue.  She married Paul J. Peikoff. Georgia was a people greeter at Wal Mart for 15 years. She was a member of the Eastern Star and Field Street Baptist Church. She enjoyed bowling, winning several trophies, golfing, dancing, learning to play the guitar and watching the Texas Rangers. Yearly family reunions at Getzendaner Memorial Park and Sunday evening dinners at Granny’s and Papa’s house were fond memories for her. 

Georgia is survived by her daughters, Joan Wallace, Carol Dunlap, Linda Vereen, Paulitte Jones; son, Paul Peikoff; numerous nieces and nephews; neighbors, Kay and Larry Kelm; 15 grandchildren; 31 great- grandchildren; 12 great-great-grandchildren.

Georgia is preceded in death by her parents; husband and all of her siblings, 10 sisters and 5 brothers.
