Georgia Plemons

Graveside service for Georgia Plemons, 87, of Burleson will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, Jan. 7, 2013 in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 10:00 A.M. Monday at the funeral home, prior to the service.

Mrs. Plemons passed away Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013 in Ft. Worth. She was born March 1, 1925 in Johnson County to John and Hattie Morris Porter. She married Abbie Plemons in 1946 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Plemons was retired from Walls Industries and was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include her son, Ralph Plemons of Burleson; two sisters, Evelyn Newsom of Cleburne and Dorothy Nelson of Ft. Worth. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Abbie Plemons in Dec. of 1969; two sisters, Josephine Prine and Lucille Hodges and one brother, Luke Porter.
