Gerald Musgrove

Service for Gerald E. Musgrove, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 14, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Chaplain Eddie Carrell will officiate. Burial will be in the DFW National Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 P.M., Saturday, prior to the service.

Gerald Ernest Musgrove passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 in Cleburne. He was born November 28, 1947 in Fort Worth to Gerald Richard and Lillian Ruth Kalenda Musgrove. He married Connie McCoy Bruce on December 5, 1998 in Crowley.

Mr. Musgrove served in the United States Navy. He worked as a millwright at General Motors, retiring with 30 years of service. He loved his family, hunting, and skiing. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Connie Musgrove; mother, Lillian Musgrove; daughters, Courtny Guthrie and husband Justin of Keller; Tammie Chapman and husband Steve of Cleburne; son, Jody Bruce and wife Robin of Cleburne; grandchildren, Mackenzie Holder, Tabitha Blassingame, Paige Blassingame, Nicole Blassingame, Jewell Blassingame Jr., Bobby Bruce, Khristen Susen, Melaina Chapman, Steven Chapman, Lacey Parker, Brittney Peugh, Richard Chapman, Taylor Cryer, Easton Chapman; great grandchildren, Averie Forrest and Gauge Peugh; brothers, Ralph Musgrove of Bowie; sisters, Barbara McDougald of Burleson and Florence Armstrong of Arlington; numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Gerald R. Musgrove and daughter, Tiffany Blassingame.
