Geraldine Conerway

Geraldine "Julia" Conerway, 77, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, October 8, 2009 in Fort Worth. Julia was born to the late, Bryant Sr. and Frances Jackson Booth on December 26, 1931 in Center, Texas. She married her late husband, Roy Lee Conerway on December 12, 1960. They were married 47 years at the time of his death. Julia worked as a chef at several local restaurants, including Chaf In. She was known as a loving mother and lady of faith. She was a member of Carter Metropolitan CME Church in Fort Worth. Julia's moral strength and character are an inspiration to all that knew and loved her. Her kind and loving spirit will be missed greatly. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two brothers, Bryant Booth, Jr. and SSG Joe Henry Booth; and sister, Talmadge Combs.

Left to honor her memory are her son, Dwight Conerway of Crowley; two grandchildren, Dwight Conerway, II and Ebony Hankins; two great grandchildren, Brittany Hankins and Hayden Christopher Brown; and sister, Johnnie B. Hafford.
