Gertrude Russell

Services for Gertrude "Trudy" Russell, 85, of Midlothian, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 3, 2010 in the Calvary Baptist Church in Cleburne. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rock Creek Cemetery in Glen Rose. Visitation will be from 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.

Mrs. Russell passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010 in Midlothian. She was born April 24, 1925 in Mansfield to Jim and Blanche Nichols Lackey. She married T.J. Russell in 1958 in Wichita Falls.

Trudy was a retired private duty nurse for the Ft. Worth Registry and was of the Pentecostal faith.

Trudy Russell is survived by her son, Weldon E. Mitchell and wife Peggy of Midlothian; two granddaughters, Christine Eugenia Ivey and husband Ron of Desoto and Terrie Anderson and husband Jerry of Hugo, Oklahoma; seven great grandchildren; nine great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son, Leon Calvin Mitchell; parents; husband, T.J. Russell and 12 brothers and sisters.
