Gladys Morrison

Services for Gladys E. Morrison, 94, of Keene, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 2008 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Norm Martin and Pastor Russ Laughlin will officiate. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Daniel Morrison, Jason Morrison Kevin Smith, Cody Gamewell and Matt Gillin. Visitation will be Saturday from 5-7 p.m.
Gladys E. Morrison passed away Thursday, December 18, 2008 in Keene. She was born July 26, 1914 in Williamson, New York to Ephraim R. and Stella Chase Bigelow. She married Ira F. Morrison on June 20, 1936 in Oswego, NY.

Mrs. Morrison served as a food service director for the Northern New England Conference of the Seventh-day Adventist. She was a member of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Keene and also a member of the Monday Club.

Gladys Morrison is survived by her sons, Joseph E. Morrison and wife, Jacky of Cortez, CO, Carl I. Morrison and wife, Donna of Keene and Roger B. Morrison and wife, Susan of Yarmouth, MA; ten grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; brother, Harold A. Bigelow of Lakeland, FL; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira Franklin Morrison on November 28, 1983.
