Services for Glenda Joyce Green (Aunt Da), 58, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, August 17, 2011 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in the Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Green passed away on Friday, August 12, 2011 in Fort Worth. She was born to Glen Woodrow and Brennon Maxine (Mickey) Jobe Hartline on January 30, 1953 also in Fort Worth. Glenda married Michael Ray Green on November 27, 1971 in Fort Worth. She was of the Baptist faith. Glenda was a fun loving lady who worked hard, expecting the best from herself and others. She was known for her generosity. It can be said that she put the needs of others above her own. Glenda took pride in making baby blankets and presenting them to others. "Aunt Da" as many knew her, loved to shop and had a vast purse collection to prove it. To say that Glenda was family oriented, is an understatement. She was devoted to her family. She had a smile that could light the darkest room. Glenda's giving nature and angelic spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. She was preceded in death by her father, Glen Woodrow Hartline; mother, Brennon Maxine (Mickey) Utzman; and a step brother, Jimmy Anguish.
Survivors include her husband of 39 years, Michael Green; daughter, Kim Havey and her husband, Bern; grandchildren, Brittani, Haden, Victoria, and Emilee; brothers, Tommy and Ricky Hartline; nieces and nephews, Teresa, Jennifer, Debbie, Bubba, Joey, Stephanie, Cortnie, David Glen, Thad, Christian, Melissa, Tommy Jr., Little Ricky, Jessica, Diane, Eddie, and Scotty; and a host of other relatives and friends.
