Glenda Steward

Service for Glenda Fern Steward, 80, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Monday, April 22, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Saturday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Walter Steward, Jody Steward, Jonathan Steward, Larry Steward, Jamie Derrick and Daniel Prayter. Honorary Pallbearers will be Robert Barrett and Kurt Ratcliff.

Glenda Fern Steward passed away Thursday, April 18, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born on November 18, 1938 in Fort Worth, to Walter Austin and Verna Viola (Capps) Branch. Glenda married Charles Edward Steward on September 2, 1955 in Midland. She was a homemaker.

Glenda is survived by her children, Charlotte Rogers of Cleburne, Nita Jones and husband Jay of Angel Fire N.M., Pat Rogers of Cleburne, Walter Steward and wife Anna of Cleburne, Don Steward of Cleburne, Larry Steward and wife Teresa of Weatherford, Jody Steward and wife Natalie of Godley; 17 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild; sister Janice Branch of Midland and numerous nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband Charles Steward in 2010, son Glen Steward in 2016, brother J.T., sisters Ola Mae, Dorothy and Hulene.
