Glenn Beene

Service for Glenn Beene, 98, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, August 31, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Gerald Beene, Jr. will officiate. Pallbearers will be Dylan Pladers, Caleb Beene, Christopher Beene, Timothy Beene, Foster Beene, Zachary Beene and Matthew Beene. Burial will be in the Prairie Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Mr. Beene passed away Sunday, August 26, 2012 in Cleburne. He was born January 16, 1914 in Johnson County to Allen Louis and Ninnie Bransom Beene. He married Erma Lillie Wright in 1939 in Pineland.

Mr. Beene was a self-employed watch maker and attended the Bethel Temple Assembly of God Church.

Survivors include his sons, Gerald Beene of Southlake and Kenneth E. Beene and wife, Paula of Waco; seven grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Erma Beene in 2008; three sisters; and two brothers.
