Services for Glenna Louise Rawlins, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 3:00 P.M., Wednseday, June 20, 2007 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Eddie Freeman, The Reverend Bill Schibler and The Reverend Dan Burt will officiate. Burial will be in the Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Laidlaw, Tim Lawdermilk, Ron Brown, Ren Brown, Matthew Cavagnaro, Jeff Gallman, Terry Schmidt and Edwis Selph. Honorary Pallbearers will be Marvel Tidwell, Sherwin Boyd, Hollis Joslin, Frank Kimberlin, Roger Abbott, Calvin Land, Charlie Hamilton and Dan Burt.
Mrs. Rawlins passed away Sunday, June 17, 2007 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 7, 1921 in Cedar Mills Community, Grayson County, Texas to Jacob Emery and Cecilia Pemelia Anderson Moore. She married Samuel David Rawlins on Aug. 28, 1940, in Oklahoma. Mrs. Rawlins was a homemaker. She was also a member of the Henderson Street Baptist Church, Santa Fe Engineer Wives Organization and the Ready Sunday School Class.
Glenna Louise Rawlins is survived by three daughters, Brenda Jack and husband Robert of Richardson, Mary Anne Phillips and husband Roger of Euless and Laverne Taylor of Lakeside; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; two brothers, Grover F. Moore and wife Wilma of Sherman, J.E. Moore and wife Alma Jean of Whitesboro and a number of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Samuel D. Rawlins and her sister, Mary Pomikal.
Glenna will be sorely missed by all of her loved ones and friends.
