Service for Gloria “Dody” Abrams Hunt, 100, of Weatherford will be conducted 2:00 P.M., Sunday, January 14, 2024 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church Chapel. Pastor Benji Leach will officiate. Burial will be private.

Mrs. Hunt passed away Sunday, January 7, 2024 in Weatherford. She was born July 23, 1923 in Babylon, New York to Harry and Mabel (Smalling) Abrams. She married Roy G, Hunt, Sr. on January 15, 1947 in South Lancaster, Massachusetts.

Mrs. Hunt is survived by her children, Roy Hunt, Jr., & wife, Earlenne of Parker, Colorado, Kevin Hunt & wife, Robin of Arlington Texas, Craig Hunt & wife, Raquel of Lamesa, Texas and Janine Rooney & husband, Robert of Weatherford, Texas; grandchildren, Karen Hunt Barnett & husband, Michael of Sweetwater, Tennessee, Kimberly Hunt Hansen & husband, Mike of Parker, Colorado, Karla Hunt Bruss & husband, David of Adell, Wisconsin, Nathan Hunt & wife, Kandi of Keene, Texas, Ryan Hunt of Weatherford, Texas and Jason Hunt of Marquez, Texas; great grandchildren, Zachary Barnett, Emily Barnett Peeke, Allison Barnett Clements, Andrew Barrnett, Elizabeth Hansen, Brandon Hansen, Sean Bruss, Adam Bruss and Nikki Bruss; great-great-grandchildren, Gilbert Peeke and Maverick Barnett; and niece, Barbara Merritt.

Mrs. Hunt is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers, Ken, Richard and Robert Abrams and sister, Barbara Dodd.
