Service for Glynda Joyce Raines, 71, of Ft. Worth, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, April 11, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Stacey Fox will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Diane Dunnivan, Becky Williams, Dee Lewis, Debbie Calhoun, Monique Hendricks, and Infinity Brown.

Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home.

Glynda Joyce Raines passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014 in Fort Worth. She was born June 27, 1942 in Lake Jackson, Texas to James Harvey and Syble Alyne Davis Raines.

Miss Raines worked as a LVN, retiring with 35 years of dedicated nursing service. She was a charter member of Fellowship of Love Outreach Church in Ft. Worth, established in 1987. She will be fondly remembered as Gran-Gran by all the children at the church.

Survivors include her partner of 40 years, Janice Oliver of Ft. Worth; and a brother, Dr. Arthur Raines and wife Katherine of Cleburne. She was preceded in death by her parents.
