Ms. Blanchette passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2005 in Palo Pinto, Texas. She was born December 21, 1956 in Cleburne, Tx., to Darrell Elwin and Willie Mae Rice Garner.
Ms. Blanchette was a retired sales representative in the electronic equipment sales industries. She was a member of Calvary Chapel Baptist Church. Goldie made many friends during her lifetime. Even as a child she never met a stranger. Goldie was very interested in the Native American Indian culture. She loved to search for arrowheads and had a large collection of them. Goldie won numerous awards during her career as a sales representative, but her most rewarding job was as a loving caregiver for Lamar and Betty Sloan. Goldie was very brave during her battle with cancer and never gave up her positive attitude. We will all miss her very much.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith", 2 Timothy 4:7.
