Service for Greta G. Crosier, 64, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, Dec. 27, 2011 in Field Street Baptist Church. Dr. John Hall will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tanner Galvin, Josh Hodges, Gary Bruner, Greg Ray, Nolte Crosier, Sherrel Wilson, Marcus Cain and Craig Berry. Honorary pallbearers will be Don Alexander, Doyle Dunaway, Byron Ostrum, Bret Hodges, Matthew Cain, Jarred Cain, Jeff Hadley and Ricky Lovell. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Crosier passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born July 3, 1947 in Cleburne to Jessie Anderson and Lydia Oneta Wilson Boles. She married E. Byron Crosier in 1980 in Hillsboro.
She was a retired secretary for the Santa Fe Railroad where she was the first woman to be elected to the board of directors. Mrs. Crosier was a very active past president of the Volunteer Auxiliary for the Texas Scottish Rite Hospital for Children and visited hospitals as "Pinky The Clown". Greta was a member of Field St. Baptist Church.
Survivors include her sons, Scott Cain and wife Chris of Cleburne and Chad Cain and wife Terria of Hurst; sister, Wynell Huneycutt and husband Cecil of Cleburne; three grandchildren, Marcus, Matthew and Jarred; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Nelda Boles and husband, Judge E. Byron Crosier on Aug. 27, 1996.
