Guadalupe Velez

Services for Guadalupe Velez, 78, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M.,Wednesday, June 2, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Visitation will be at the funeral home from 6:00-8:00 P.M. on Tuesday. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery.

Mrs. Velez passed away Saturday, May 29, 2010 in Cleburne. She was born July 27, 1931 in St. Paul, Texas to Pedro and Josepha Alfaro Hinojosa. Guadalupe was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal faith. She will be greatly missed by all those that knew and loved her. Guadalupe is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ramiro Velez; brother, Moses Hinojosa; sister, Francis Hinojosa; and grandchildren, Gabriel and Reylene.

Survivors include her daughters, Maria Velez of Rio Vista and Elizabeth Mixon and husband, Rodney of Winnsboro; sons, Pedro Velez and wife, Agnes of Madison, Wisconsin; David Velez and Daniel Velez, both of Rio Vista.
