H. Roye
Services for H.A. Roye, 84, of Blum, will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Monday, March 15, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Sam Houston will officiate. Burial will be in Rio Vista Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Glenn Copeland, Richard Harwell, Monty McCoy, Doug Watson, Darin Roye and Tim Poteet. Visitation will be from 3-5:00 P.M. Sunday.
H.A. Roye passed away Friday, March 12, 2010 in Cleburne. He was born May 21, 1925 in Johnson County to William Marvin and Angie Pearl Anderson Roye. He married Harriett Allean Watson on October 21, 1944 in Cleburne.
Mr. Roye was a dairyman and farmer. He was a member of Woodrow Baptist Church and also a longtime member of Blum Masonic Lodge.
He is survived by his daughter, Shirley Poteet and husband Joe of Blum; grandson, Tim Poteet and wife La Donna of Blum; granddaughter, Amy Fisher and husband Bruce of Colcord, OK; four great-grandsons, Trystan, Trevor, Joe Roye and Jake; brothers, Leo Roye and wife Marie, Junior Roye and wife Wilma; sisters, Azalee West, Violet Copeland and Wanda Harwell and husband Kenneth; sisters-in-law, Virginia Roye and Elizabeth Roye; a number of nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Pat Roye on February 24, 2007 and brothers, William, Travis, James, Raymond and John Roye.

Memorials may be made to the Cherokee Home for Children, P.O Box 295, Cherokee, Texas 76832 or Meals on Wheels, 106 E. Kilpatrick, Cleburne, Texas 76031.
