Services for Henry "Hank" Edmond Styne, 79, of Grandview, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2011 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel with Rev. Joe Ardy officiating. Graveside services will follow at 2:15 P.M. in the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery. Mike, Joe, Kenneth, Eric, and Richard Styne, Rod Harlin, William Hughes, and Tony Taylor will serve as pallbearers. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 from 1:00-3:00 P.M.

Mr. Styne passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 in Fort Worth. He was born to Edmond and Margarite Sturtewagen Styne on February 5, 1932 in Atkinson, Illinois. Hank married Mary Ellen Halverson on September 22, 1967 in Arlington, Texas. He was of the Lutheran faith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict and was a life member of the V.F.W. Hank worked as an aeronautical engineer with L.T.V. Chance Vought. He was a member of the Survivors Club of LTV, retirees of L.T.V. Chance Vought, and the Experimental Aircraft Association. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Ellen Tillery and his parents.

Survivors include his wife, Mary Ellen Styne of Grandview; children, Christine Hughs and husband, William of Burleson, Richard Styne and wife, Carolyn of Cedar Hill, Michael Styne and wife, Lynett of Dumas, Joe Styne and wife, Vanbo of Arlington, Kenneth Styne and wife, Lynn of Bedford, Eric Styne and wife, Karie of Arlington, Tony Taylor of Ft. Worth and Debbie Harlan and husband, Rod of Moberly, MO; 19 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; brother, James Styne and wife, Linda of San Ramos, CA.
