Services for Harvalea Williams Richardson, 87, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 13, 2006 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. George Sutton and Dr. Joe Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be all retired school employees.
Mrs. Richardson passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born November 19, 1918 in Cleburne to Harvey T. and Myrtle Belk Williams. She married Addran Dee Richardson on August 15, 1953 in Denton.
Mrs. Richardson was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Midland Chapter #253 and dual member of the Ruth Chapter #20 in Cleburne. She was also a member of the Professional Nurses Organization and the Johnson-Somervell Counties Retired School EmployeesAssociation and Texas Retired Teachers Association. She was a graduate of Baylor University School of Nursing in 1940 with a B.S. and Masters from Texas Women's University in Denton. She was employed with Midland I.S.D. as a school nurse from 1957 -1979. She returned to Cleburne in 1980 after retiring.
Harvalea Williams Richardson is survived by two nephews, Billie B. Williams of Ft. Worth and Roy T. Williams of Cleburne; three great nephews, Rhett Williams of Cleburne, Christopher Williams of Burleson and Blake Williams of Cleburne; and cousin, Polly Katherine Miller of Alvarado. She was preceded in death by her husband Addran Dee Richardson; brother, Billie F. Williams and parents, Harvey and Myrtle Williams.
