Harvey Harris

Mr. Harris passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2005 in Ft. Worth. He was born December 26, 1932 in Waxahachie, Texas, to Harve Pope and Willie Mae Small Harris. He was an iron worker and a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Harris was a member of the American Legion Post 50.
Harvey Joe Harris is survived by his companion of 12 years, Gladys Wilson of Cleburne; son, Joseph Pope Harris of Union, Maine; daughter, Sherry Lynn Stariett of Union, Maine; brother, Frank Harris of Cleburne; three sisters, Mrs. John "Bea" Peikoff of Cleburne, Lila Mitchell of Cleburne and Mrs. Donald "Betty" Mears of Cleburne; 9 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; and extended family, Patricia Brand, Lenease Kaye, Barbara Skiles, Leon Wilson and their 10 children. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Tommy and Douglas Harris.
