Hazel Fenn

Graveside service for Hazel Ruth Johnson Fenn, 93, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, March 30, 2022 in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, March 29, 2022, at the funeral home.

Hazel passed away Friday, March 25, 2022, in Fort Worth. She was born August 19, 1928, in Hillsboro, Texas to Harvey Richard and Mamie (Bankston) Johnson. She married Claude Lee Fenn on March 13, 1947, in Glen Rose. She worked as a Nurse’s Aide for Town Hall Estates in Keene. Hazel was a lady who loved everyone. Her sweet nature and giving spirit were her trademarks. Hazel was proud of her home and enjoyed making it a place where you felt welcome. She had a great faith and truly loved her church, Bethel Temple Assembly of God, where she has been a member since 1996. She read her Bible daily until she couldn’t anymore. It gave her much peace to do so. Hazel will be missed greatly.

Hazel is survived by her children and their spouses, Connie and Gene Russell, Evelyn Greathouse, Joyce Homesley, Clinton and Denise Fenn, and Claudale and Angie Fenn; 14 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; 19 great-great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and a host other relatives and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; two grandchildren; 1 great-grandson; sisters, Jewell Scott, and Thelma Anderson.
