Hazel Gregory

Services for Hazel Odean Gregory, 91, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, August 30, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverand Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will follow in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Chance Scarber, John Beauvais, Larry Hall, Daniel Westerman, Darrell Godfrey and Steve Westerman. Honorary pallbearers will be David Tribble, Wallace Tribble, Jr., Austin Godfrey, Ronnie Tribble, Jr. and David Tribble, Jr. Visitation will be from 3-5 P.M. Sunday.

Mrs. Gregory, a homemaker, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2010 in Fort Worth. She was born February 2, 1919 in Covington to Joe and Nellie Morris Russell. She married Delmar William Gregory on October 27, 1972 in Johnson County. Hazel was of the Baptist faith.

Hazel is survived by three daughters, Polly Swinney and husband Bobby of Kennedale, Bobbie Lopez and husband Robert and Debra Scarber and husband Earl, all of Cleburne; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren, a host of other relatives and friends and her special friend, Ora Brunson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Delmar; her parents, Joe and Nellie Russell; two brothers, Marshall and Bobby Joe Russell; two sisters, Irene Meyers and Beatrice Threadgill; one daughter, Francis Tribble; two granddaughters, Lois Tribble and Amy Hall and one grandson, Ronald Gene Tribble.
