Services for Hazel B. Murdick, 70 of Joshua, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Grady Weldon Patterson will officiate. Burial will be in Morgan Mill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Thomas Jones, Ben Jones, Morgan Robertson, Randy Wilson, Michael Moody and Ricky Slawson. Kory Murdick will be an honorary pallbearer.

Hazel B. Murdick passed away Sunday, January 22, 2006 in Ft. Worth. She was born January 7, 1935 in Glen Rose, TX, to Homer L. and Nancy Hubble Murry. She married Billy Murdick on June 16, 1978 in Ft. Worth.

Mrs. Murdick was a respiratory technician and retired from Arlington Memorial Hospital.

Hazel B. Murdick is survived by her husband, Bill Murdick of Joshua; five sons, Cecil Ray Lindley of Ft. Worth, Billy Murdick, Jr., Joshua, Bobby DeWayne Murdick of Burleson, Michael Lee Murdick and wife Rose of Oklahoma City, OK and Troy Don Murdick of Joshua; four daughters, Brinda Street of Burleson, Linda Jones and husband Dwight of Granbury;Sharon Merkel and husband Timothy of Joshua and Wanda Joy Slawson and husband James of Crowley; 19 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one brother, Grady Murry of Plainview; four sisters, Pauline Cameron of Grandbury, Evalee Patterson of Arlington, Tina Moore of Patillo, Tx and Lola Sue Wesson of Granbury and a number of nieces and nephews and a very large extended family.
