Helen Fagan Shipp

Graveside service for Helen Fagan Shipp, 91 of Cleburne will be 12:00 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the Joshua Hopewell Cemetery. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., at the cemetery pavilion prior to service. Chaplain Eddy Carrell will officiate.

Helen passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024, in Granbury. She was born April 18, 1932, in Crowley to Jesse Melton and Mary Emmer (Prather) Fagan. Helen married Charles Eugene “Skip” Shipp on October 13, 1950, in Everman. Helen was funny, feisty, and loving. She was an animal lover and enjoyed working in her yard. Helen enjoyed watching her shows, ice skating and cooking “brackfast”.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Marla Roth and husband Steve; granddaughter, Kayla Harper and husband Matthew; great-grandchildren, Abel Harper, Titus Harper and Andi Pearl Harper; several nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends.

Helen is preceded in death by her parent, husband and siblings, Virginia, Madalee and J.D.
