Helen Hackler

Services for Helen Holt Hackler, 75, of Cleburne, will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, March 6, 2005, at Cleburne's Crosier-Pearson-Mayfield Funeral Home. Rev. Bill Schibler and Dr. Joe Stephens will officiate. Burial will be in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 pm, Saturday, at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Johnny West, Stacey Langston, Terry Clark, Chris Clark, Wesley Clark and JJ Campos. Honorary pallbearers will be James Hackler and Billy Isaac.

Helen Hackler went to be with her Lord on Thursday, March 3, 2005 at her residence in Cleburne, Texas. She was born on July 29, 1929 in Blum to Mammie Lee (Upchurch) and John W. Holt. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. R. Hackler, on April 14, 2000, after 53 years of marriage. Helen was a member of Henderson Street Baptist Church.

She is survived by her daughter, Irene (Dobber) Stone, of Cleburne, her son David Hackler and his wife Harleene, of Kopperl, three sisters, Ellen Jean of Burleson, Betty Basye of Cleburne, and Elsie Hill, of Blum, one brother George Holt of Rio Vista, four grandchildren, D'Rhea Ward, Kari Nazworth and her husband, Tim, Chad Hackler and Teleisha Smidth and her husband Bill, seven great grandchildren, Rebecka, Amber, Haylea, Justin, Stetson, Sienna, and Skyler, the Clark family of Joshua and numerous friends and relatives.
