Henry Bernard Ballew, Jr., aged 71, of Burleson, Texas, passed away on August 17, 2024, in Fort Worth. Born on December 1, 1952, in Cleburne, Texas, he was the son of Henry Bernard Ballew, Sr. and Willie Jane (Bauldwin) Ballew.
Henry's professional career as a pharmacist spanned over 25 years at Walmart in Burleson, alongside more than three decades of service at Hillsboro County Hospital. He was well-known for his generosity and selflessness, earning the affection of friends, customers, and family alike. An avid animal lover, Henry's compassion extended to all creatures.
Henry is survived by his partner of 42 years, Ernie Earl Robinson. He is also remembered by his sisters, Judy Vinson and her husband Darrell, and Jane Bacon and her husband Don; as well as his cherished nieces and nephews, including Corey Cannon, Emily Kidd and her husband Nim, Sam Bacon, Will Bacon, Katie Bacon, Sarah Ortiz and her husband David. He shared a close bond with many cousins, including Verna Straiton, Barbara Millstead, Charlotte Doty, Glen Doty, Phyllis Doty, Michael Doty and his wife Suzanne, Debbie Cannon and her husband Scott, David Ballew and his wife Karen, Danny Ballew and his wife Joyce, and Donnie Ballew. Additionally, Henry is survived by his sister-in-law, Sharon Watkins; great-nephew, Cheston Cannon; and great-great-nephews, Thaddeus Delgado, Emmett Berriochoa, and Everett Berriochoa. Henry's beloved dog, Maya, also brought joy to his life.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jane and Bernard Ballew, and his nephew, Cullen Cannon.
Henry will be remembered for his loving spirit and the positive impact he had on the lives of those around him. His legacy of kindness and dedication to family will forever be cherished.
