H.I. Moore

Service for H.I. Moore Jr., 78, of Covington will be conducted at 10:30 A.M. Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 in the Covington Church of Christ. Mr. Roger Stewart will officiate. Burial will be in Derden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:30-7:30 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Mr. Moore passed away Monday, Dec. 19, 2011 in Itasca. He was born Nov. 3, 1933 to Henry Irby Sr. and Ella C. Poole Moore. He married Donna Kathleen King on Nov. 4, 1951 in Cleburne.

Mr. Moore was a farmer and enjoyed ranching and carpentery. He was a member of Covington Church of Christ.

Survivors include his daughter, Debbie Nix and husband James of Covington; grandchildren, Jared and Deidre Nix; one great great grandson, Elan Hinson; sister, Delores Waldrum of Palestine and two nephews. He was preceded in death by parents and wife, Donna on June 30, 2003.
