Service for Homer G. Kelley, 88, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Wednesday, Mar. 16, 2016 in the First Church of the Nazarene in Cleburne. The Reverend Tom McNutt and the Reverend Weldon Coble will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Matthew Pullin, Preston Kelley, J.D. Greer, Kevin Greer, Cody Morgan, and Brendan Greer. Honorary pallbearer will be Chuck Thomas. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home.
Homer G. Kelley passed away Saturday, Mar. 12, 2016 in Ft. worth. He was born Jan. 10, 1928 in Eliasville, TX to Homer Scott and Winnie Jewel Young Kelley. He married Frankie Marie Jones on July 14, 1962 in Ft. Worth.
Mr. Kelley served in the United States Army and worked as an installer for AT&T, retiring with 34 years of service. He was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Cleburne.
Survivors include his wife, Frankie M. Kelley of Cleburne; three sons, Bennie Kelley and wife Wanda of Cleburne, Marty Kelley and wife Kendra, of Cleburne, and Jesse Gilley of Weatherford; two daughters, Vickie Lyn Klein of Cleburne and Carol Jean Tinney and husband Larry of Weatherford; seven grandchildren, Matthew Dean Pullin, Kellie Marie Pullin, Brittney Renae Kelley, Preston Gene Kelley, J.D. Greer, Kevin Greer, and Cody Morgan; and numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one daughter, Linda Morgan.
