Service for Homer Riley McNatt, 74, of Brownwood, Texas, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2024, in Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Burial will follow in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be at 12:00 P.M., Tuesday, May 7, 2024, prior to the service in the Mausoleum Chapel.
Homer passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, in Brownwood. He was born September 12, 1949, in Cleburne. Homer married Sandra Catron on April 12, 1968 in Amarillo, Texas. He was a member of Joyful Life Church of God. Homer proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam era. He worked as a Mechanic in the automotive industry. Homer liked working on racecars, enjoyed hunting and target shooting. He loved to fish and spend time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Homer was a grillmaster who loved to entertain, and enjoyed listening to bluegrass music. He had the bluest eyes ever. Homer will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Sandra McNatt; children, Chris McNatt and wife, Garlene, Amy Farrow, Stony McNatt and wife, Amy, and Elizabeth Pelky and husband, Chris; 10 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends.
Homer was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved cats, T.C. and Spot.
