Homer Wellborn

Homer Wellborn passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2005 in Grandview. He was born March 19, 1914 in Electra, Tx., to James Byron and Hettie Jackson Wellborn. He married Bonnie Mae Tisdial on September 3, 1940 in Atoka,
Oklahoma.
Mr. Wellborn was retired from the Federal Government where he had 30 years of service as an avionic technician. He was also the owner of Wellborn Trucking. Mr. Wellborn was a member of Calvary Baptist Church where he served as deacon for 25 years. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather.
Homer Wellborn is survived by daughter, Barbara Rux and husband Butch of Cleburne; son, Ralph Wellborn and wife Angie of Corona, California; brother, Lowell Wellborn of Weatherford; 8 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife; one daughter, Homa Lean Wellborn; 4 brothers; 1 sister and great-grandchild, Ashley Rux.
