Open visitation for Horace Gilliam, 79, of Cleburne will be 10:00 A.M. to 2:00 P.M., Thursday, April 16, 2020 at the funeral home. Graveside service is private.

Horace Gilliam passed away Monday April 13, 2020 in Fort Worth. He was born May 20, 1940 in Godley to Harrison and Pauline (Curlee) Gilliam. Horace was a clerk at the post office before retiring in 1992. He was a long-time member of College Heights Baptist Church.

Horace is survived by his sons, Gary Gilliam and wife Gwendolyn of Cleburne and Rusty Gilliam and wife Deborah of Burleson; brothers, Burl Gilliam of Grapevine and Winston Gilliam of Lubbock and granddaughter, Xiomara Gilliam of Burleson.

Horace is preceded in death by his parents and wife, Barbara Gail Gilliam in 2007.

In lieu of flowers, the family prefers donations to be made in Horace's name to College Heights Baptist Church, 1007 Phillips St, Cleburne, TX 76033
