Service for Houston "Hootie" Ray Lee, 87, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Saturday, Jan. 7, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Keith Whitt will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Friday.
Mr. Lee passed away Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012 in Fort Worth. He was born May 5, 1924 in Cleburne to Mack and Della Georgia Allen Lee. He married Dorothy Paula Kindle on April 1, 1945 in McKinney.
Houston Lee served his country proudly in the U.S. Army and was a retired railroad conductor. He was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include his sons, David Lee and wife Heather of Rockwall and Steven Lee and wife Joyce of Arlington; grandsons, Shawn Lee and wife Jenise, Jason Lee and wife Veronica, Brian Lee and Connor Lee; great grandchildren, Caitleen, Haley, Payton, Thomas and Jacob; one sister, Anna Marie George and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends, including niece Paula Maldondo, who was raised in the family home. He was preceded in death by his wife Dorothy, two brothers and two sisters.
