Howard Maddoux

Memorial service for Howard Westley Maddoux, 81, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, May 7, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Mr. Maddoux passed away Monday, May 2, 2011 in Cleburne. He was born June 10, 1929 in Paint Rock, Texas to Herman Washington and Merry Houston Maddoux. He married Maxine Alice Wood on Feb. 5, 1949 in Eden, TX.

Mr. Maddoux was a retired saleman for the Florsheim Shoe Co. and was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors include his daughter, Trisha McGaughey and husband Phil of Demascus, MD; daughter-in-law, Kathy Maddoux; grandchildren, Blake Maddoux and wife Rebecca, Elyse Habenicht and husband Daniel, Marissa Maddoux, Rachel and Katie McGaughey; sister, Nancy Bingham and husband Harley of Lubbock and Tylene Rutherford of Arlington. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Maxine Wood Maddoux on October 18, 2009 and son, Hal Wayne Maddoux.
