Service for Howarton Clement, 86, of Keene will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Feb. 4, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Dan Connally will officiate. Entombment will be in Green Acres Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
Howarton Clement left this world to be with his loving Savior, Jesus Christ, on Saturday, Jan. 30, 2016 in Keene. He was born July 29, 1929 in Indiahoma, OK to Thomas Jordan and Lena Walker Clement. He married Dorothy Mae Hatcher on July 23, 1950 in Clayton, N.M. and she preceded him in death on Sept. 22, 2015.
Mr. Clement was a transportation manager in the milk industry until retiring and a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church in Comanche.
Survivors include his sons, Howard Clement and wife Patrice of Whitney and Michael Clement and wife Kerri of Crowley; four grandchildren, Jason Clement of Ft. Worth, Leslie Brooks of Burleson, Michael Clement and wife Kim of Zelienople, PA, and Breanna Darnell and husband Michael of Forney; five great grandchildren, Levi Clement, Caden Clement, Tyler Brooks, Hunter Brooks, and Brailey Darnell; sister, Florence Metcalf and husband Jack of Amarillo; and brother, Zeke Clement of Stinnett. He was also preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Brenda June Clement; and eight brothers and sisters.
He was a loving husband, father and loyal friend. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
