Hugh George

Graveside services for Hugh Vernon George, 69, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, July 13, 2007 in the Rio Vista Cemetery. Rev. Charles E. Payne will officiate. Honorary pallbearers will be Sam Duvall, Farley Vaughn, Brandon Hinson, Kevin Lee, Jim Garner, James Bullard and the members of the Auditorium Bible Class.
Hugh Vernon George passed away Tuesday, July 10, 2007 in Cleburne. He was born January 15, 1938 in Johnson County, TX to Hugh Dru and Ella Mae Thetford George. He married Anna Marie Lee in November 1974.
Mr. George was a welder and served in the National Guard. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Hugh George is survived by his wife, Anna Marie George of Cleburne; one son, Hugh Denson George of Joshua; four step-sons, Grady Lee Hinson of Mexia, TX, Jimmy Don Hinson of Cleburne, Billy R. Hinson of Irving and Lonnie Hinson of Granbury; one step-daughter, Paula D. Hinson of Azle, TX; one brother, Joe W. George of Cleburne; 8 step-grandchildren and several step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Larry George.
