Hugh Stanley

Graveside services for Hugh L. Stanley, 77, of Cleburne, will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, September 19, 2005 at Rose Hill Cemetery, with Rev. Joe Stephens officiating.

Visitation will be held from 6-8 PM Sunday, September 18, 2005 at Crosier-Pearson-Cleburne Funeral Home, 414 N. Main St.

Hugh L. Stanley, a retired postal worker, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2005, in Fort Worth. He was born June 14, 1928, in Johnson County, Texas the son of Arville and Royce Lafon Stanley. He married Sophia Acosta, October 28, 1950, in Weatherford, Texas. She preceded him in death October 5, 2003. He was also preceded in death by one son, Daniel Stanley, October 10, 1995.

Mr. Stanley is survived by sons, Michael Paul Stanley, Timothy Ray Stanley and Jonathan Stanley, all of Cleburne; daughter, Mary Jo Fowler, of Joshua; nine grandchildren and one great-grandchild; sisters, Barbara Stanley, of San Antonio and Dollie Clary, of Ennis; brothers, Clovis Stanley, of Cleburne and Leroy Stanley, of Melbourne, Florida.
