Ila Underwood

Memorial services for Ila Corene Underwood, 58, of Glen Rose, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, June 19, 2014 in the Crosier Pearson Cleburne Chapel.

Mrs. Underwood passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Fort Worth. She was born to Weldon and Ellen Marie Ford Speer on April 3, 1956 in Cleburne. She was a homemaker and one of the most giving people one could know. So much so, that through her own passing she gave sight and other needed gifts of life to others through organ donation as well as donating her body to science. Her giving nature and loving spirit will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Ila was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Shirley Lambert; and nephew, Tommy Robinson.

Survivors include her son, Billy Lee Hart; daughter, Wendy Rodriguez and husband, Rey; grandchildren, Mason Williams, Kristin Williams, and Tyler Wall; sisters, Rickie Robinson, and Sandy Ayers; as well as a host of other relatives and friends.
