Service for Imogene Fuller Carter, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 20, 2021 in First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Cemetery. Visitation 6-8:00 P.M., Friday at the funeral home.
Imogene Fuller Carter passed away March 16, 2021 in Fort Worth. She was born October 4, 1936 to Oscar Sr. and Annie Mae Grant Fuller. She married Fredrick Hawkins her late husband and second husband Sylvester Carter. Imogene was employed and retired from General Dynamics after 20 years of service. After retirement she worked with the Cleburne ISD and Handi-tran as a bus driver. She was a member of First Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church.
Imogene is survived by her daughter, Valary Alexis of Arlington; sister Addie Warren of Cleburne; grandchildren, Khalef Alexis, Me’Cha Alexis, Caprecia Alexis, Rae’Chel Alexis; granddaughter -in-law, Jessica Alexis; great-grandchildren, Kamara, Kamaria, Ja’alisa, Rahhimm, Julian and Jasiah; nieces, Pam Grover, Vicki Fuller, Elizabeth Franklin, Donna Love, Kieshia, Kim Warren, Angelia Wilson, Pat Goza, Daphine, Phillys, Loretta and Shanda; nephews, James Fuller, Jr., Peter, Glen, Elvis and Ronnie.
Imogene is preceded in death by her parents Oscar Fuller, Sr. and Annie Mae Grant Fuller; son-in-law, Andre Alexis; brother Oscar Fuller, Jr. and James Earl Fuller, Sr.
