Ira Hanson

Services for Ira Alford Hanson, 54, of Mesquite , will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 10, 2010 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Burial will follow at 1:00 P.M. in the Baker Lain Cemetery . Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Thursday, December 9, 2010 at the funeral home.

Mr. Hanson passed away Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Plano . He was born November 20, 1956 in Dallas , Texas . Ira was of the Pentecostal faith and spent time enjoying various church activities. He was a dedicated, loyal and hardworking man. He worked as an apartment maintenance man, security guard, locksmith, and air conditioning service man just to name a few of his trades. He was proud to have earned his concealed handgun license several years ago. Alford also enjoyed spending time on his computer and watching television programs. He will be missed greatly by all those that knew and loved him. He was preceded in death by his mother, Bernice Marchman Hanson; and sister, Sandra Hanson.

Survivors include his parents, Weldon and Mary Hanson; sister, Janis Linton and her husband, Jimmy; niece, Amy Ebarb; nephews, Robby Watson and his wife, Theresa, and Bryan Linton and his wife, Tammy; seven great nieces and nephews, Sidney, Stephen, Kristy, Misty, Troy, Jaci, and Tiffany; as well as a host of other relatives and friends, including the Clark Family.
