Services for Irene Waits Hendrix, 73, of Alvarado, will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, November 27, 2006 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Rev. Charles Payne will officiate. Pallbearers will be Tim Hickson, Jim Snyder, Kris Overton, Brent Webb, Chris Knight, Paul Owen, Rick Owen and Mike Butler.

Irene Waits Hendrix passed away Friday, November 24, 2006 in Cleburne. She was born February 8, 1933 in Johnson County, Texas to Louie and Eula Garrett. She married Les Hendrix in Cleburne on May 31, 1979.
Mrs. Hendrix was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church.

Irene Waits Hendrix is survived by her husband, Les Hendrix of Alvarado; daughters, Brenda Hickson of Joshua, Sandy Webb and husband David of Cleburne; 10 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy F. Waits; son, Larry Waits; sisters, Ruby Brown and Arleta Garrett and brother, J.M. Garrett.
