Irene Jones

Service for Irene B. Jones, 95, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Friday, Feb. 25, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Jim Bews and the Reverend Rudy Rudewick will officiate. Pallbearers will be Derick Gonzales, Lincoln Powell, Chuck Nelson, Derick Gonzales Jr., Stamm M. Todd, Tommy Todd, Sean Woodward and Peter Silva. Honorary pallbearer will be Stamm L. Todd. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Weatherford. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Thursday.

Mrs. Jones passed away Tuesday, Feb. 22, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born August 14, 1915 in Weatherford to Amos Ewing and Nellie Ann Hudson Boothe. She married Wilmer Eugene Jones on December 23, 1939 in Weatherford.

Mrs. Jones was in the dairy and farming industry and a member of the Godley Methodist Church.

Survivors include her daughters, Charlotte Gonzales of Burleson and Sharon Todd and her husband, Stamm of Cleburne; six grandchildren, Lincoln Powell, Cecilia Nelson, Derick Gonzales, Stephanie Todd Woodward, Stamm M. Todd and Tommy Todd; two great grandchildren, Derick Gonzales Jr. and Peyton Nelson.

She was preceeded in death by her parents; husband, Wilmer E. Jones on March 10, 1971; brother, Roy Boothe and grandson, Craig Powell.

Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, 2401 Scott Ave., Ft. Worth, Texas 76103.
