Irene Ryder, 79, passed away Friday, August 2, 2011 in Cleburne. She was born August 21, 1932 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada to Bill And Violet Curran Whiteside. She married John E. Ryder on February 4, 1949 in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Mrs. Ryder was a retired sales consultant with AT&T and was of the Christian faith.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John E. Ryder of Cleburne; daughter, Carol Elizabeth Olivier and husband John S. of Cleburne; grandson, John Paul Hill of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada; granddaughter, Tracy Ryder of Jacksonville, FL; two sisters, Beverly Prichard and Carol Straight. She was preceded in death by her son, John E. Ryder; brother, Roy Whiteside and sister, Diann Bartholemew.
