Irene Saldana

Graveside service for Irene Saldana, 50, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Tuesday, May 23, 2023 in Rosehill Cemetery. Pastor Daniel Garcia will officiate. There will be a time of visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M., Monday, May 22, 2023 at the funeral home.

Irene passed away Friday, May 19, 2023 in Fort Worth. She was born November 21, 1972 in Mexico to Rodolfo Lemon Saldana and Maria Martinez Saldana. Irene was a homemaker and member of Templo Cristiano Aposento Alto in Alvarado. She was known for her cooking, especially tamales. Irene loved taking care of her plants. She was straight forward, loving and forgiving of all. Irene had a giving nature about her, worrying about everyone. She enjoyed keeping up with her friends and family through social media. Irene will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her children and their spouses, Rey Huerta and Marissa, Maria Huerta and Kevin Noriega, and Israel Huerta and Rita Ortiz; grandchildren, Adrian Huerta, Gabriel Huerta, Gracie Huerta, Anahy Huerta, and Camila Huerta; siblings, Alma Cardona & Jose, Miguel Saldana & Norma, Jorge Saldana & Maribel, Carlos Saldana & Patricia, and Ilda Celia Saldana & Benito Hernandez; numerous nieces, nephews and a multitude of other family members.

Irene was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Javier Saldana and Rodolfo Saldana; and sister, Alma Saldana.
