Isaac Doty

Service for Isaac E. Doty, 87, of Rio Vista, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, September 15, 2018 in the Calvary Baptist Church. Reverend Charles Payne and Reverend Brooks Monk will officiate. Burial will follow in Rio Vista Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Friday.
Pallbearer will be James Doty, Gregory Doty, Cleve Doty, Blake Dagley, Jacob Doty, and Jason Lacy.
Isaac Doty passed away Wednesday, September 12, 2018 in Waco. He was born May 18, 1931 in Cleburne to Rubion Daniel and Lema Bruce Doty. He married Thelma Maxine Hogan on October 6, 1950 in Johnson County. She preceded him in death on May 5, 2012
Mr. Doty was a truck driver for Sowell’s Feed Store for 22 years and a maintainer operator for Johnson County for 20 years and a member Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include son; Jimmy Dan Doty and wife Brenda of Rio Vista, daughter; Debbie Stafford and husband Dale of Blum, grandchildren; Gregory Doty, James Doty, Crystal Lacy, Jessica Dagley, and Cleve Doty, great grandchildren; Britney Doty, Haley Doty, Jacob Doty, Matthew Lacy, Addison Lacy, Kerrington Dagley, and Sarah Grace Doty, sister; Gracie Moore of Rio Vista.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; Maxine Doty in 2012, son; David Doty in2013, 4 brothers; that include Woodrow, Thomas, and Franklin, 5 sisters; Margie Chastain, Melba Wakeland, Helen Mathis, Buelah Stanford, and Mary Moore.
