Ivanette Hopps

Services for Ivanette Hopps, 93, of Keene will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 9, 2010 in the Keene Seventh-day Adventist Youth Chapel. Pastor Benjie Leach will officiate. Burial will be in Keene Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Fry, Ed Fry, Kenneth Fry, John Hopps, Frank Hopps, Gary Hopps, James M. Hopps and Eryn Hopps. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ivanette Hopps passed away Dec. 29, 2009 in Keene. She was born Oct. 26, 1916 in Keene to James K. and Nancy Jannet Wallen Woodall. She married Herbert Milton Hopps on April 21, 1933 in Marietta, Okla. He preceded her in death on March 28, 1997.

Mrs. Hopps was a retired nursing home administrator and a member of Keene Seventh-day Adventist Church.

She is survived by her children Cecil Hopps and wife, Mary Ellen of Temple, James K. Hopps of Keene; grandchildren, James M., Gary and Eryn Hopps; four great-grandchildren, Emmaline, Evan, Emmerson and Max Hopps and numerous other relatives and friends.

Memorials may be made to SWAU for Hopps Museum in Keene.
