Ivine Belz

Memorial service for Ivine James Belz, 82, of Keene was conducted at 4:00 P.M., Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 in the Keene SDA Church. Dr. Bill Kilgore officiated. Burial was at 2:00 P.M., Monday, in the Keene Memorial Park. Pastor Russ Laughlin officiated at the graveside.
Mr. Belz passed away Saturday, Sept. 29, 2012, in Cleburne. He was born Oct. 29, 1929 in Taylor, Tex. to Ewald Frederick and Annie Christena Reiter Belz. He married Sarah Lee Horst on Dec. 23, 1952 in Gainsville. Mr. Belz was a member of the Keene SDA Church. He worked in retail clothing sales for 25 years and also worked as a medical technician for 25 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Mr. Belz is survived by his wife of 59 years, Sarah Belz of Keene; daughter, Rita Earhart and husband Dennis of Cleburne; son, James Belz and wife Debbie of Keene and daughter, Christena Cox and husband Jim of Murphy; grandchildren, Douglas Mehling, Jason Belz and wife Jennifer, Tony Belz and Gavin Cox and a sister, Susie Poenitz.
