Jack Harris

Graveside service for Jack Robert Harris, 82 of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010 in the Rosehill Cemetery. Mr. B.B. Stevens will officiate.
Mr. Harris passed away Sunday, Dec. 12, 2010 in Cleburne. He was born June 7, 1928 in Cleburne to John G. and Nora Willie Rape Harris. He married Mildred Jean Gordon on Dec. 3, 1948 in Cleburne. Mr. Harris was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a Machinest for the Santa Fe Railroad with 38 years of service. Mr. Harris also worked as a greeter at Wal-Mart and enjoyed his family, traveling and camping. He was a member of the Westhill Church of Christ.
Mr. Harris is survivied by his wife of 62 years, Jean Harris; sons, Mike Harris and wife Michelle, Steve Harris and wife Kay, Ricky Harris and wife Jennifer; daughter, Jean Ann Oliver and husband Max; seven grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a sister, Dorothy Barbour.
