Jack passed away Saturday, June 15, 2024, in Burleson. He was born March 13, 1940, in Cleburne, Texas to Porter Young and Hazel Eleanor (Rogers) Whitt. Jack was of the Baptist faith. He worked as a VP of Operations in the banking industry with over 50 years of service. .Jack was also an Artist that designed album covers. He was quick witted and loved Dad jokes. Jack was a sports fan of all kinds, but golf was his passion. Throughout his life, Jack touched the hearts of many with his kind deeds and warm presence. His legacy of compassion, generosity, and loyalty will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his sons, Richie and Roger Whitt; nephews, Mike Hight and Johnny Hight; along with a host of other relatives and friends.

Jack was preceded in death by his parents (listed above); and his sister, Patti Hight.
