James Boykin
Jim Boykin, 71, of Burleson, passed away on Sunday, December 10, 2017.
Celebration of Life service will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, December 15, 2017 in the Cross Timber Baptist Church, 2560 F.M. 713, Burleson, Texas 76028.
Jim was born in Fort Worth, TX to Albert and Lillie Bell Boykin on March 5, 1946. He went to school in San Angelo, TX. He married Rosalie Boykin on January 8, 1968 in San Angelo.
Jim worked for Lane Construction for 12 years. He was a NGUS Arty and served in the U.S. Corps of Engineers and the Navy, M14 sharpshooter, National defense service medal and Vietnam Service medal.
Jim Boykin is survived by his wife, Rosalie Boykin; his children and their spouses, Melvina and Daren Gann, Randy and Dana Baker, Carol and Bo Beckham; his sister, Elsie Burney; his eight grandchildren and their spouses along with his 15 great grandchildren. He was loved by many.
Memorials in his memory may be directed to the family.
