James Cannon

James Henry Cannon, 83, passed away Friday, October 20, 2006 in Cleburne. He was born June 14, 1923, in Kopperl, the son of William Edward Cannon, Jr. and Mary Gilbert Cannon. He married Helen Smith July 24, 1942.
Mr. Cannon was a retired auto maintenence manager for the city of Cleburne for thirty years. He served in the U.S. Army during WW II.
James Henry Cannon is survived by daughters, Donna Turner and husband, Ben Hill, Kathy Standley and husband, Jim and Linda Cannon all of Cleburne; brother, Tom Cannon and wife, Beth of Cleburne; sister Evelyn Rogers, of Fort Worth; grandchildren, Danna Crosby and Jan Leverett ; great grandchildren, Aaron Crosby and Caroline Leverett and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Cannon, May 7, 2002.
